Welcome to year 6
I have been teaching at DSJ since 2009 and am currently enjoying teaching in year 6.
I believe in creating a fun, safe learning atmosphere where the children feel valued, respected and challenged. It is important to me that year 6 children enjoy their last year in primary and are motivated to try and achieve their absolute best to ensure they are confident and secondary school ready.
Our current year six have settled in beautifully and are working hard.
I am supported in the classroom by a fantastic TA in Miss Faunt.
Mrs Emery teaches two and a half afternoons a week in year 6 and covers Topic, RE, PSHE and Spanish
My door is always open for parents with any questions or concerns about their children.
